Start another instance of Loq Airou, possibly on another computer.

If you are starting the new instance of Loq Airou on the same computer, connect to localhost just as above. If you are conneting from a different computer, you need to figure out the IP address of the computer running the server, and enter that number when Loq Airou asks you for the address to connect to.

On Windows: open a command prompt window (by selecting Run in the Start-menu, typing "cmd", and pressing return). In the command window, type "ipconfig", and press return. This will print out the required information.

On Linux: open a shell, and type "/sbin/ifconfig". This should print the required information. If not, and you have root access, become root and type just "ifconfig".

On Mac OS X: either run /sbin/ifconfig in a Terminal, or open the Network preferences panel.

Once you know the IP address, click on the smaller "localhost" text on the line in the bottom half of the CONNECT screen. A vertical cursor line appears. Use backspace and delete to remove the "localhost" text, and then type in the IP address. When done, click the "OK" in the bottom left.

Once the second instance of Loq Airou is started and connected to the server, it will display the geometry you just created. If you, for instance, now select a corner and move it, the change will be seen in real-time on the first computer as well. All modelling operations performed in Loq Airou are shared using the Verse protocol.
