OpenSG
OpenSG is a portable scenegraph system to create realtime graphics programs, e.g. for virtual reality applications. It is developed following Open Source (LGPL) principles and can be used freely. It runs on IRIX, Windows and Linux and is based on OpenGL.
Using OpenSG technology, Fraunhofer IGD will provide a Verse rendering client, that can be used for high-end installations like H-eye-Wall or CAVE . Among other things OpenSG provides cluster support and subdivision surfaces. Furthermore a built in radiosity module will be developed for this client.
